Life has been full of incredible experiences for Angela. Constant moves as a child helped her to experiment with who she was, meeting new people, discovering the cultural differences and natural beauty in wildly different landscapes from the rugged beauty of the Oregon Coast to ranch life in the vast deserts of Nevada and Arizona, City life in California all the way over to the history and beauty of New England where she lives now, just outside of Boston.
Having had so many experiences in schools, jobs, multi-business ownership, and interactions with such a variety of individuals all over the world helps her to connect and relate easily with every person she meets.
There isn’t much she hasn’t personally experienced in the realm of personal history. Her past includes the emotional and physical pain of domestic violence, divorce, the humiliation and shame of business failure and bankruptcy, the painful loss of loved ones. She has experienced amazing success and growth from what she learned through those experiences.
She is grateful for all of her past as all of it has given her gifts and the understanding that we all grow by facing obstacles.
She believes from talking to thousands of people that there is not one person on this earth that doesn’t have at least one Hero or Heroine’s journey that they have been through or are going through now. Sometimes there are many journeys, each with a different dragon!
Facing dragons is terrifying if you don’t realize you are on your own Hero’s journey and there is always a way to deal with the dragons in your path, it just takes a little creativity and a flexible mind.
Angela believes the beauty of the Hero’s Journey is the surprise treasure you emerge from the Journey with, and the stories you get to tell about it!
